Carl Inzerillo, DO
Kansas City University
Carl Inzerillo, DO, is a proud alumnus and the current President of the Kansas City University (KCU) Alumni Association, with a connection to the institution spanning more than 50 years. After graduating from KCU, Dr. Inzerillo built a thriving solo family medicine practice in De Soto, Kansas, juggling privileges at four hospitals with early morning rounds, clinic hours, house calls, and long, rewarding days caring for his community. Later, he moved to Liberty, Missouri, to be closer to family, joining the Samuel U. Rogers Health Center, and eventually became Medical Director at a correctional facility — a role he found both fascinating and demanding. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he transitioned to telemedicine before retiring fully, though he continues to teach CPR for the American Heart Association. A lifelong educator and mentor, Dr. Inzerillo has trained generations of KCU students in diverse clinical settings and takes pride in seeing them thrive. As Alumni Association President, he remains deeply dedicated to strengthening alumni engagement, expanding philanthropic support for student needs, and championing the enduring values of the osteopathic profession.
