Nathan Miller is the Assistant Program Director for the Internal Medicine Program at Freeman Health System in Joplin Missouri. He graduated from Missouri Western State University with honors in 2006, earning degrees in Biochemistry and Forensic Chemistry. After finishing college he worked as a EKG technician and patient care technician for 2 years gaining valuable patient centered experiences. In 2008 he began his postgraduate career by attending AT Still University/ Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. After graduating in 2012 he joined the Freeman Internal Medicine Residency Program, eventually graduating in 2015. Since then Nathan has remained in Joplin as a core teaching faculty before accepting the position of Assistant Program Director in 2019. Nathan has a passion for teaching. When he is away from the hospital he can be seen spending time with his family or exploring nature.
