Dr. Dale Sanders serves as the Director of the Healthcare Administration Program and as an Associate Professor of Healthcare Administration/Business Administration, at Alma College.
Dr. Sanders is active in the community. He serves on the Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) State Health Needs Assessment Task Force; the Mid-Michigan District Health Department Gratiot County Community Health Assessment Steering Committee; the Great Lakes Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives; United Financial Credit Union, Saginaw, Michigan, Board of Directors Credit Committee; and is a Guest Lecturer for the Student National Medical Association Annual Medical Education Conference.
In his spare time, Dr. Sanders research activities and interests include a comprehensive evaluation of system thinking, when approaching health disparities and health outcomes of marginalized communities. This research explores the effects of cultural competency and diversity training for students, educators, new careerist, and seasoned practitioners.

Dr. Sanders discloses that he has no relevant financial relationships with any organization producing, marketing, reselling, or distributing health care goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients relative to the content of this presentation.
